LPG Industry LPG Production

LPG Production

Production during crude oil refining

During atmospheric distillation of crude oil at the refinery, the difference in boiling point produces LPG, gasoline, naphtha, kerosene, diesel, lubricant, and heavy oil. LPG is separated at the lowest temperature (-42°C to -1°C) during the oil refining process and has a production yield rate of 1-3%.

Production at petrochemical plants

Olefin-type gas generated during naphtha cracking for the production of ethylene, propylene, and butylene, which are basic fuel types in petrochemistry, is recovered and turned into LPG through hydrogenation processing
